In a landmark collaboration for the northern Illawarra, two beloved institutions are joining forces to serve up something special. Rosie’s Fish & Chips, the iconic coastal takeaway known for its honest food and local ingredients – has expanded with a brand-new sister venture: The Bistro, now running the kitchen at Coledale RSL. This exciting partnership brings together Rosie’s grassroots energy and the community spirit of the RSL, creating a fresh dining experience that celebrates simplicity, quality, and connection. Open Thursday to Sunday from 11:30am, The Bistro will dish up elevated pub-style favourites with Rosie’s signature no-fuss, flavour-first approach – think wild-caught Aussie fish, hand-cut triple-cooked chips, and hearty classics made with care from the best local produce.
